Welcome to The Coordinated Collective

A company created for couples planning their own wedding

Our clients plan their own wedding and understand the need to hand over the reigns on the wedding day so they hire our team to pull their plans, vision, and vendors together on the wedding day.

Our day-of coordination service includes:

  • Working with couples 8 weeks before the wedding date

  • Scheduled phone calls

  • One in-person consult during site visit

  • Timeline review and distribution to the vendor team

  • Up to 8 hours of service on the day-of (additional hours available)

  • Placement of printed wedding materials

  • Coordination of the wedding rehearsal

  • Two Coordinators on the wedding day

We work with couples 8 weeks before the wedding ensuring no detail has been overlooked and help tie up any loose ends. On the day-of the wedding, we oversee and make sure every aspect of the wedding is carried out as planned. We're based in the Washington, D.C. metro area and have coordinated weddings in Maryland, D.C., Northern Virginia, and San Diego.

Where We Work

We've coordinated weddings in private homes, historically recognized churches, parks, museums, libraries, art galleries hotels, botanical gardens, and many other spaces throughout D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. We travel and we love working in new spaces. Here is a list of some venues where we've coordinated weddings:

Anderson House, Billingsley House, Bolger Center, Carnegie Institute for Science, Dumbarton House, Glen Echo Park, Josephine Butler Parks Center, Longview Gallery, St. Francis Hall, Malmaison, Mandarin Oriental (DC), Meadowlark Botanical Gardens, Omni Shoreham (DC), Oxon Hill Manor, Saint Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, Saint Peter's on Capitol Hill, Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center, The Hendry House, The Line Hotel DC, The Sunset Room by Wolfgang Puk, The Westin Annapolis, Torpedo Factory, University of Maryland Memorial Chapel, Washington National Cathedral, Westfield's Marriott, Wollam Gardens, Woodlawn Manor and More.

The Collective

We're a strong team of women who collectively love music, food, culture and of course, all things wedding. Our backgrounds include project management, public relations, product development, hotel guest services, event planning, venue management, and catering.

We provide day-of wedding coordination for couples planning their own wedding and need a wedding professional team to pull all their wedding plans, vendors, and vision together on the wedding day.

Ja'el, Partner + Coordinator. Planning a wedding is a stressful affair, but it doesn't have to be. Ja'el is the most likely to embody Olivia Pope during a wedding; driven by her love of detail and infectious energy, you will never feel all of the stress of wedding planning. With a background in policy and logistics, your wedding, "It's handled."

Jasmine, Partner + Coordinator. Color coded closet and coffee addict. Fueled by her ability to naturally organize and plan seamlessly; Jasmine is able to pull an event and everyone involved together and has done so successfully for the last 13 years. She has a background in public relations and in 2018 founded DC Wedding Week.

Makenzie, Coordinator. Passionate about women's rights and hustles for underserved women at her day job in DC. She walks to Eastern Market almost every weekend and her ideal Saturday includes iced coffee, kayaking, Far East Taco Grille and a movie at E Street Cinema. Her biggest advice to couples; you’re celebrating something beautiful and wonderful. Let that be the center of your planning and you’ll forever remained pumped to marry each other.

Emma, Coordinator. Most Likely to Make Everything Picture Perfect. As the resident perfectionist (and photographer) of the team, she takes a lot of pride in making sure an event looks and goes exactly as planned. From Richmond, VA, she is very fond of her family, first snowfalls, plantains, and watching (okay, crying at) wedding films.

Drew, Coordinator. Travel enthusiast. Equestrian. Constant Craver of Thai and Indian food. Aesthetic perfectionist. When she's not planning her next adventure or teaching a spin class, you can most likely find her in Northern VA on her family's farm spending quality time with her animals, or at a local winery enjoying a glass of chardonnay and soaking up the sun.

Evin, Coordinator. The ultimate team player. Lover of lists, yoga, flipping through wedding magazines, and a yummy brunch. This midwest sweetheart is passionate about creating unforgettable experiences and has a knack for design and decor.
